IntervalMatch function

Hi,

Can somebody explain the functionality and use of IntervalMatch function along with an example?

What I have understood from Qlikview help is : IntervalMatch is used to link a discrete numeric value to one or more numeric intervals. Need some more insight in that. It woud be helpful if explained with some example.

Hi,

IntervalMatch is used to associate a single value to a range of values..

Attached is an example to understand this better.. check the script and output.

Hi Sushil, but there's synthetic key in your data model...

How to solve it?

You can create a link-table to resolve it or simply rename the fields. However, you actually no need to remove the synthetic keys in this case.
