Trigger for Data Export - send email or log file

Hi All,

We have a requirement for a user to export data to excel from a pivot table. I am trying to think of a solution whereby when this action occurs, that user gets an email or a logfile is created in response. That way there is a trail of activity for this action (exporting data).

There is only 1 user so it would not need to be dynamic.

Has anyone had this type of requirement before?

You want trigger qlikview task through external user? You could use mail or simply text-files in network which will be checked and if they are newer or changed - if yes then start the main task.
