Hi All,

I have applied security in my applciation and at tab and field level(Region). have declared there access in the excel.Some users are restricted to look at only few of the regions.

so when a user who has access to only some of the regions logins then he is not able to get into the applciation itself..

The error message he he gets is

ERROR : Access is denied.

Could some suggest me what is this actually.. doe sit mean security is not implemented well or login credentials were given wrong?

Could be wrong login credentials or the user doesn't have access defined to any region.

Hi ,

before that, In Settings-->goto the document properties-->goto Opening tab--->there select Check box---Initial data Reduction Based on Section Access..

try this....

Hi,

I have checked in my data load job.. he has the region value populated to which he has access..

But still he is not able to open the file..
