topic folder structure in QlikView

HI,

I'm new to qlikview and I've a small clarification.

To maintaining include files,QVD's,QVW files..e.t.c, should we follow any mandatory folder structure for developer\administrator

in real time?

Please help me in this if anyone having knowledge on the same.

Hi,

Basically there is no need to maintain folder structure.

But for our better understanding

You can create folder like this way.

1:-Data(Which contain all data file could be xls,csv,xml etc)

2:- QVW (Where we include only those QVW using that QVW we create QVD)

3:- QVD (Where we store QVD created by above QVW)

4: Report (Where we use QVD and create Report).

This structure I use but every one have their other understanding structure .
