Remove Zero on X- Axis Bar chart

Hi Everyone,

I was getting 0 in the x-axis bar chart.Please help me how to remove it .It was coming because of using year to date function in dimension.

Check the attachment and also is there a way can i join both the charts in one.Expressions are same,but dimensions are different.

not sure whats ur calculated dimension but you write something like if(yeartodate(...)=0,'')

Dimension is Year2date(Date),Expression iam using dual to calculate the % and num

Can't you simply tick the check box "Hide Axis". Will that help?

you must have checked the option "Text on Axis" option in the Expression tab. un-check that option.

Nope actually 0 is coming from calculated dimension. I had a dimension date field like 'DD/MM/YYYY'.when i use that i am getting graph as per every year but i need upto date.So, i used year2date which is causing that 0.

so you have two dimensions and three expressions on the bar chart. correct?

Can you please post the expression you are using in the calculated dimension.

Yup .You are correct 2 dimensions and 3 expressions.

calculated Dimension : year2date(Date)

the value '0' is displayed as the Date in calculated dimension "year2date(Date)" doesn't fall within a year from the Jan, 1st to the date the script was last executed. Refer to the Qlikview HELP for further details on the function.

You may be using a wrong function, if you are trying to implement a YTD logic.

Can you help me which is the best function to calculate the date .

Suppose if date starting at 01/01/2010 and ending at 01/01/2014.

I need the date in one dimension.Instead of splitting and showing if we use year(date) 2010,2011,2012 which shows as per every year.But i need all in one date till 01/01/2014.

From what you have explained,

it appears like you don't need the date dimension at all. If that is the case, you can remove the date dimension from the chart. Else, you need to add the required period in a set on the Expression.
