Title(name) two different date ranges

I need a user to select a beginning date (1/1/2014) and an end date (2/28/2014), probably using a sheet object calendars, and have all dates in this range be named "Base Period". Then the user needs to select a different beginning date (3/1/2014) and an end date (3/31/2014), again probably using a sheet object calendars, and have all dates in this range be named "Current Period". The "Base Period" and "Current Period" needs to be a column in a table.

Any ideas how best to do this?

go here, there is an example (top left chart) of an expression based on a period (start date, end date) with two calendar object

The Basics about Dates, Date Ranges and Set Analysis

for the second column (period), add two other calendar object, etc, etc, ....
