Line Chart Dimension Max

I have a line chart that calculates a percentage (y-axis) by a description code (x-axis) which isn't displayed. The description code has a range of 1-1000. My problem is that it seems the line chart can only display ~100 codes at a time (even if you remove the label), which means you can only display 100 datapoints at one time. The only workaround I have found is to use the "Limit Dimension" to a max of 100 and have it use a x-axis scroll bar. What I would like is for all the data points to be displayed at one time, almost like a zoom out of the graph, so no scroll bars are needed. Any thoughts would be very helpful.

Thanks.

In user preferences/object tab there is a setting "Max number of symbols in graphs" set to 100 by default. You can try changing that although I'm not sure if that would be the recommended option.

Regards,

Thanks for the quick post. I tried that, but I think that applies only to different symbol types. Either way, I'm still having the same issue.

Thanks again.

Hi all...

I am having the same problem and found this thread. When I click on "continuous", it displays all of the data points, but since the dimension on my x-axis is a date format, it changes the format into numbers. How do I keep it a date format?

Also, if I were to add scroll bars to my chart, how would I do that? I can't find it anywhere under "Properties".

Thanks!
