Connection with Database server through Qlikview

Hi All,

I have one problem regarding connective database through Qlikview. Noted point here is : my DB server is in another domain let say DMN1. I can able to connect to that DB server through batch file. I have also created DSN by using another batch file.

But while connecting to created DSN through QlikView its getting field.

In that case what we need to do.

You don't say anything about the symptoms of the error, e.g. whether it is an ODBC error message or a QlikView error message. But it sounds as if you have a problem with the credentials, so...

1) Have you created your DSN as a system DSN? You say you connect using a batch file - but I do not know which user you are using then - if you run the bat file under another account. But with a system DSN it shouldn't matter.

2) Do you have the right credentials in your DSN? Windows authentication or not?

3) Have you tried OLEDB instead of ODBC?
