Playing a sound when Target is reached?

Hi Guys and Girls,

Just a quick question....

I'm writing a Performance dashboard that refreshes every 10 minutes displaying the sales consultants with the number of calls they have closed. I'm only displaying the top 10 consultants and want to play a sound as soon as the nomber one consultant changes.

For example...

1. Joe Smith (10) calls

2. Alex Jones (9) calls

3. Samantha Furlong (7) calls

....

If Alex overtakes Joe to claim the number one Spot there must be a sound played to draw attention to the monitor.

Is there any way you can actually do that in Qlikview?

You can try using Alerts. Choose Alerts from the Tools menu, add a new alert, add the condition expression. Click on the Pop-up Settings button to add a sound to the alert:
