Hi I am trying to generate automatic reports for the following...

We have fields Manager, Employee. When the dsahboard refreshes mail should be going out with the reports to all the managers with their respective employee details.

How can we achieve it in QlikView. There may be 500 of managers with 10 employees under each.

Hi,

For such a large number of reports I would recommend using a third party product. NPrinting can link to QlikView and distributes reports as part of a automated schedule. Reports can be sent via email or to a folder or Google Drive. You can also choose the format - Excel, Word, Ppt, HTML etc. By loading up a distribution list of managers and employees you can filter the data prior to the report being generated so that the user receives only the data that is relevant to them.

To be fair, there are also other products available - CIA Reports, QVMailer all available on the QlikMarket site but NPrinting is the one I am most familiar with.

N-Printing Or Qlikview Publisher is best option for the same.

If we do it in QV publisher, will it be taking lot of time to refresh the dashboard. Because I guess the job searches mail id of manager and refreshes the dashboard and keeps on doing the same for all the managers.

Can't we do it in QMC level for this requirement.
