Unable to access network files

Hi,

I have a created a web page using share point 2008 and uploaded files like word , excel. From qlikview i am trying to access by Edit Script -> web files -> URL.

I am getting error message as unauthorized to view the page. I able to see this is related to permission issue. I don't know where i exactly define permissions. could you suggest some solution?

Perhaps you can specify the user name and password in the url:

http://qvtest:qvtest@www.somewhere.org/mypage.html

The account that is running the script must have access to the sharepoint list otherwise it cannot reached it.

You could try to force the credentials in the sharepoint URL

http://User:Password@sharepointserver.com Password@sharepointserver.com....

Watch out also when sharepoint is deploy as a cluster, you'll have to give additional info in the url to reach the right cluster.
