Look for sample program for analyse production part reject

Hi All

I am looking for sample to demo to my customer how to make QV for above application. Basically my customer have below raw data. Hope some one can provide me a demo QV doc . Basically my customer want to have report as below. and i know QV can even give more other report which is more powerful. Hope some one can provide the qv doc, or give me the link which app is closer to my customer requirement, Thank.

Yes you can make a report like this in qlikview

1. If you want to load this type of data from excel file then you have to Cross table load.

2. And in qlikview use pivot tables for creating this type of tables

I am aware of how to create a simple from qv.

But I want to use qv sample demo doc which created and show this way is much better . As those sample already put in a lot of effort.

Hi Paul,

I think you possible know what is SIB (seeing is believing). In this step it is iportant to let your Customer get feel, that QV is exactly what is needed. You need 1 or maybe 5 days to prepare small demo, on your customer data, ith your customer logo. It lets your Customer imagine, that QV as a tool is really fast and get first experiences with ral data.

You know, if you find even very common application, it still will be that you will show dog when you would know that your Customer need cat....

Anyway sometimes it may be worth to start with some demo app, but then it is less important if this demo is really your Customer need. Even better may be to show something different than your Customer profile

Your point is vaild . It is alway good to use customer data to demo.

But my issue is I have limited time to create the demo.

Also my objective is to show the diff between using excel vs Qlik view.

Because it is hard to justify to spend so much money for using Qlik view if excel can do the job.

Also the demo bill show me . Have shown many useful and powerful report which can help them analyse their scrap report . Which is excel lack of.

it is possible to give me the link to download the QV demo app. as when i demo , i want to show using my note book with out connect to internet . ( also i don't have internet connection) i am not able to it there any way for me to download the doc from the link.

Hi All

i have a question , if my demo successfully impress the customer , and they don't have big budget for invest on 5 1 license ( because i have check with Qlik View singapore , they don't allow purchase single license , min purchase qty of license is 5 ). Hope some one can advise me how to solve this issue , so that i can convince them to invest on qlik view,.
