First I had the free Personal Edition, i used all recovery attempts on that so I decided to purchase the license for the PE (QV11).

Now I've created a new document and sent it over to a college for him to use. But he can't open it.

Getting error that this document was created by another QV PE user or an another computer.

So my question is, if I create a new document on my licensed QV shouldn't I be able to open it on another computer that uses the Free PE?

The user with the free PE have not opend nay other documents

But with the free PE you should be able to do a recovery 4 times.

Hello Johan,

The PE is personal as stated in the name. You can created and open the document with your licence but no other person will be able to open it.

But what kind of licens do I Need for a free PE user to open my document?

I know it's possible coz I had the Free PE first and then a supplier to me sent me his document and I was able to open that.
