mailbox should be opened from report

Hi all,

I had requirement, In help topic of the home page i was asked to provide support mail id.

Now from there on clicking on the mail id, the default mailbox should get opened with a compose mail page and to address as the maild id provided.

Is this possible?

Not sure about the "Compose mail page and address" but for rest have you tried using "Launch" option from the actions? If it's a webmail then you can try "Open URL" option as well.

HI Shyamal,

I didnt try to launch url becoz, the requirement is to open the default mailbox in the user system.

Say outlook is your default mail box , it should open

Then you can try "Launch" option. It is for launching applications.

And the parameters can be set on the basis of info provided in Qlikview help:

Yes it is possible. We did that in one of our dashboards where users can click on the link and then the mail box opens with the compose mail ID (Support team ID). Please look at the screenshot below.
