Hi Ray,

You can create a chart like that using a pivot table. Right click on the document and select new sheet object > Chart > Pivot table (its to the right of all the other chart types). Set the dimensions as the grand total columns and the rest of the columns as your expressions.

Unfortunately I've found that the only way to group the first block of columns is to manually place a text box above it as size it up so it looks the way you would like. In the past I've had a couple of charts that needed 3 or 4 columns grouped under one root column and that was the easiest solution.
