DMS Authorisation

Hi, In the enterprise edition, we say DMS authorisation is possible and when we do that Qlikview starts controlling the file access. But how and where exactly do we do the security configuration at the file or document level? Can somebody shed some light on this?

Hi Ramkumar,

Yes DMS authorization helps in controlling the files access. You can do so through QMC.

Please follow the mentioned steps:

Go to QMC--->>>than Go under System Tab
Under System tab--->>Select Qlikview server(Under Setup)
At the right side please select Folder Access tab and here you can assign users access rights

Hi Ram,

I'm not sure why you are only having 3 services running of QMC ,although I'm having 5 . May be version problem.

I'm sorry no clue on this why you can't see Folder Access tab.

I guess you don't have publisher.
