Qlikview OCX 80080005 Server execution failed (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80080005 (CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE)).

Hi All,

We are having an issue when trying to start the Qlikview client from code (it is a ASP.NET MVC web application running under IIS 7), using the Qlikview OCX, in the event viewer i get this message:

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {0E4678AA-415E-11D1-934D-0040333C91CC} failed due to the following error: 80080005 Server execution failed (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80080005 (CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE)).

According to us it has something to do with the DCOM configurations (basically authorization issues), and it can be solved by settings a specific user under the Identity tab, but this is not a solution for us since it is the QW server and we are several users who run QW.

What troubles us is that the same application runs on the development server - with the same configuration, and there it works fine, also runs fine on local machine.

Info: We run every 2 hours a reload of the app which consist in like 80 qvws and in total it takes nearly 4 hours. So there's always 2 paths processing.

We parallelized many tasks, so usually there's like 4 to 8 qvws running.

Windows Server 2012, 16 cores, no IIS. It's a publisher machine. Distribution Service.
