Possibilties to fetch data from Amazon Web Service(AWS) using Qlikview

Hi All,

I need your inputs on this one.

I want to fetch the data(a list of csv files) which are avalable in AWS (S3).

Is there any connector available to fetch the data from AWS, especially from Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) using qlikview.

If not, Please let me know the possible work around solutions to do

Hi Ravi,

I'm sorry to have to say I cannot help here. It should be possible, so much I know, and you should not need any additional connector. QlikView should be able to do it without any extras.

I haven't done things like this (working with web_based data), but I would be very much interested to know how this can be done.

Hi All,

Here is one possibility as per my research

There are some tools available over internet which can map an Amazon S3 bucket as a Windows drive. Once we have mapped drive on our desktop or Server then we can easily extract data from that location

Please add your ideas also..

QVSource now has an Amazon S3 Connector:
Amazon S3 Connector For QlikView And Qlik Sense - QVSource: The QlikView & Qlik Sense API Connector (Docs)

Which will be in the next release, if you would like advanced access just send a note to support@qvsource.com. Otherwise it should be available November 2015.
