Hi,

I am just back today after one month's absence, so excuse me if the solution to this proves easy:

I just want to write the paths to several base_data_files (Excel) in variables because the team managing these data_files

keeps moving them around, each time forcing me to change the file_path. I want to make it easier - and have them do the work instead of me - there are a lot more "them", but there is only one "me" 😉

=> Do I have to put that path (it is already in square brackets, there are blanks in the file_name) into upper quotes? And how do I call it then (what do I write in the FROM_part of my LOAD)?

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

DataNibbler

Hi Ashfaq,

thanks a lot for the quick answer! But

I will try. So I'll put the variable_name in quotes, then expand it and put the entire expression in square brackets because of the blanks.

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

DataNibbler
