Will macros work when the dashboard is opened from the QlikView client using the option "Open in server". Do we need to install the plugin?

I am looking at the macros used to generate the ppt/word.

Macro's will mostly work using the Open in server option to open the document. Macro's to generate ppt/word document should work if the security settings grant enough right for the macro to execute.
