Close and restore functionality in accesspoint

Hi All,

My requirement is when select one tab and close the reports and thne click on restore button, it should open the tab on which i close the reports.

But currently its always showing the first tab in the report.

So I wanted to know is it functionality of the QV or we can achieve the above mentioed requirement?

It works as you've described if you use AJAX client. If you go to another tab, make selections, close the browser, reopen browser, and re-open QV app in AJAX again - you have your latest tab and selections. Same if you use Close/Restore button on the upper right.

Thanks Michael for quick reply, I using AJAX client only for viewing the reports, still I m not getting consistent behavior.

For Close and restore to work as per my requirement should i need to close the browser window and reopen again?

Have you toggled the restore session on in QMC?

I already did the setting of Alloe session recovery.

Any other setting I need to do?

Try This,

Goto Document Properties Triggers tab, Document Event Triggers add On Open Event Activate Sheet Sheet_ID

This will not work in Ajax. See reference manual.

But if I put the trigger of activate sheet, then it will be static right?

I want to show the current selected tab.

Can't think of anything else. See if there is something that enforces the first tab on open.
