Hi All,

I have attached QVW file qvw sample data.

I have created calendar table in changeddata.QVW it gives me result different than previousdata.QVW .

Please suggest.

i can see, that you have different row number in your fact tables (retail) in both apps.

can you please tell me ,Is there any issue in new calendar table.

What will be the good way to create calendar table using Resident data,I mean how to join it with entire data model.

Deepak,

in general you create master calendar to have dimension with all information related to data (like YearMonth, YearMOnth_number, etc). Additional very important goal of creating master calendar is to have all dates from range we are interested. This is possible, that we have not facts for some dates. Ths is why standard procedure to create master calendar it is:

a) find date boundaries (for example min fact date and max fact date)

b) generate dates from min date to max max date.
