How can we handle Dimensionless facts and fact without dimension in qlikview.

Can you please share some example for this.

Hi Deepak,

We do have 2 type of tables Fact table & Dim Table.

Normally we consolidate our Measure/Fact data by Dimension, But it is not compulsory. Sometime We required to use Dimension & measure alone.

Factless Dimension (Scale) or Filter on which we measure our Fact Data,

For Only Dimension you can use following Charts:

QlikView => List box, Multi Box, Table Box

QlikSense => Filter Pane, Table

Dimensionless Fact for an example Sum(Sales), we can show in Gauge Chart, without need of Dimension.

For Only Dimensionless fact you can use following Charts:

QlikView => List box, Gauge Chart, Text Object

QlikSense => Gauge, Text & Image, KPI, Filter Pane, Table

Generally there is no sense to include Factless Dims in the datamodel. Hence its advisable to load your fact data first and use Left Keep on Primary Key of Dim table to the corresponding Foreign Key in the Fact table...
