Hello, we have tried to use the google maps api but unfortunately it does not work successfuly because we have no html site. If someone has a solutions, it really would help us

Hello,

i have same problem. I have created a Website with google sites and put into the website name here to generate API key.

http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html

But still it doesn't worked.

I have used Google Maps in QlikView as a dynamic image background to standard objects, eg scatter chart, like in the demonstration application http://community.qlik.com/media/p/67023.aspx

The key thing is you have to use the static maps API, which returns an image, rather than the dynamic maps API.

I understand you don't need a key for the static maps API any longer.

I think that to use the dynamic maps API you would have to use an object that acts like a browser. Maybe there is an extension available?

I followed the demonstration application instructions in new qlikview files Everything worked ok except one thing

that Static image of map is not coming. i have used key also but image not coming.
