How to display certain records / filtered values in Table Box

Hi,

I have a table box that is displayed in the dashboard, but instead of showing the whole table, I want it to list based on a specific filter. So for example if I have 100 records total and I filtered on Status column of 'Active', I want it to display by default only 'Active' records. Where and how do I apply this statement in the table box?

All you need to do is to select value 'Active' in the field Status.

But that's selecting the value, 'active.' The end user can clear selections. I need the table to only show 'Active' right now the table box is carrying over ALL the records.
