    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have the following Variables in the Script&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="2014-08-11_1330.png" class="jive-image" src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/64126_2014-08-11_1330.png" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to create a front end in the Extraction to change the Value of the Variables&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;like below&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="2014-08-11_1335.png" class="jive-image" src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/64151_2014-08-11_1335.png" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So if I click the check box it will change the variable to 1 and then it would load the .qvs file that contains the script and then&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;extract the data.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is this possible? or am I wasting my time?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's possible, but reloading requires Qlikview Desktop. And you need to open the file directly. Open in Server will not work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So I can change the Variable Value in the Front end?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried adding the Variable in an Input box and changing the Value from 0 to 1 and it does the keep the value obviously, as the script 0 value keeps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have an example where&amp;nbsp; this works&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Alan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;See this post: &lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/message/287213"&gt;Re: Reload Data based on a selected value&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure the script of your document doesn't set the value of the variable unless it's at the end of the script, i.e. before the variable is used for load statements. Otherwise your script will simply overwrite the value the user set.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
