List Box user issue

Hi guys,

I got this issue from a user..

I have a list box on the application as follow

ListBox1

Dell

Dell INC

Dell Products

Dell Incorporated

Dell.inc

The list box (filter) has scroll bar in it and only three items show on the screen the rest of them you have to scroll due to limited space on the app which is fine with everyone.

Now, when the user search for dell three items show on the screen and when he tries to scroll down he looses the search criteria entered (Dell in this case) and the list box goes to default state and the user is not able to see the rest of the dell rows..

Any idea on how the user can scroll without loosing the criteria?

Hi,

In this case why not use universal search object.

You can place it somewhere in your dashboard.

try by keeping 'Wild cart search'

Hi,

Type the search string in the list box and use mouse to scroll the list box, this way you can see the remaining values in the list box or you need to simply increase the height of the list box or provide a Search object.

Hi,

Type the search string in the list box eg : *dell* and press enter , then use mouse to scroll the list box, this way you can see the values in the list box containing the string "dell".
