Select in Field Trigger - Not Equal?

I have a need to have a trigger on document open to set a number of values in listboxes for various alternate states. I've got many of them set but I've got two where the criteria is NOT X.

Setting a Value of X is fine. How do I say everything BUT X?

Relatively new to QV so please forgive if this is easy. I searched but didn't see this addressed (at least to my understanding.

The fields could have many values and they may change over time so listing the values TO select would be difficult and potentially problematic down the road.

Any suggestions?

Do the Select in field for X.

Then do Selected Excluded

This is neat for a single value to be excluded.

I have a case where I have a list of 10 possible values and I want to give the user the feature to unselect one, or both, of 2 of these, perhaps using 2 separate buttons.

Any ideas ?

I have hunted for the way to Select field contents NOT EQUAL to value.
