Set Analysis in YTD comparison

Hi,

Below is the structure of Pivot table report that I need to develop in QlikView:

2006 2007 jan2006 to may2006 may2006 may2007 diff

Open Accts 100 200 40 20 10 -10

Payment 200 100 30 10 20 10

Here 2006 and 2007 are year values derived from a column named as 'Year'. Open Accts and Payment are expressions. jan2006 to may2006 contains Open Accounts and payment rate as sum from jan to may(YTD) in the same pivot table. I am able to get data for 2006 and 2007 by selecting 'Year' as dimension from my source data. diff is differense of last two columns (i.e current month data of this year-same month of last year).However I am unable to derive YTD(jan2006 to may2006) as there is no YTD column in my source data(Excel sheet), all I have is a 'Year' and 'Month' dimension.

Also let me know if there is a way to hide expressions, though it will be calculated but not shown in the report.

So need your help in resolving this issue either by writing some set analysis or else suggest on doing so.
