Limit Changes to sheets

I have created several QV documents and several sheets in those documents. In the QV documents I find selection done in one sheet are automatically done in all other sheets. I want to whether I can make selection limiting to one sheet and other sheets should remain as it is. If this is possible please let me know how?

Yes possible look at alternate state.

Upali,

It is possible if you use alternate estates.

Create an alternate estate, going to Configuration->Document Properties->General tab-> button Alternate Estates->Add->type a name, Estate01 for instance-> ok to all.

Go to the object in a sheet, properties, general tab, and select the Estate01 in Alternate States.

Now this object will only response to selections in this Estate01.
