Logging on more than once

Hi all

I am running a training session for 9 colleagues to demonstrate a new report. I have logged into all the training PC's as myself as I have the relevant permissions for the new report, but I'm getting some strange behaviour from the report.

I'm starting to think it may be because my login is being used multiple times.

Can anyone verify if this would cause issues.

Hi,

Can you explain what error you get?

if it is trying to reload or reconnecting something like this.

Then for sure this is because of your ID used in multiple instances.

Hi Ashfaq,

Yes when the users click around the report, it tries to reconnect or loses connection etc.

Sounds like what you are saying is you are not allowed to use your ID in multiple instances!?

Yes true,

you are right.

You can use 1 id in different machines but only 1 instance at a time will work.
