Where condition in QVD file

I am loading data from a QVD file with a where condition as follows

Load *

......

(qvd)

WHERE NOTE>=100 AND NOTE<=1000 AND YEAR>=2014 and MONTH=1;

This where condition I want to modify as follows

WHERE NOTE>=100 AND NOTE<=110 and NOTE>=120 AND NOTE<=1000 AND YEAR>=2014 and MONTH=1;

Is this possible ? pls educate me.

what do you want to achieve here? You condition seems like it will never evaluate to true. Can you tell your requirement please?

Yes it is possible, you have to apply WHERE clause after "(qvd)".

What is the condition u want to give for NOTE.

The condition u have given will never become true because

u specified 1st condition for NOTE as between 100 and 110

and 2nd condition as between 120 and 1000

Both cannot be possible at a same time.

My requirement is to load data relating Note from 100 to 1000 except Note 111 to 119

try like this.

where (note >=100 and note <=1000) and not (note >=111 and note <=119) and year >2014 and month=1;

where ((note >=100 and note <=110) or (note >=120 and note <=1000)) and year > 2014 and month=1;
