How to ignore the current selection when do set analysis? routine method doesn't work

Hello

I am a new qlik user and I found that routine method doesn't work on my qlik11.

Environment: tutorial.qvw, Sales sheet.

task: set the sales in 2005 as the reference: expression-- Sum ( {1<Year={2005}>} Sales)

issue:

The reference (2005) only presents well when you click the 2005 in Year list box. The rest selections are not good, even after you select all. I also attached the qvw file for reference.

Actually, what I want to do is to set 2005 as the baseline and compare the results of current selection to baseline. I will highly appreciate it if anyone can help me! Thanks a lot!

Hi,

Its because of the dimension limit which you had set.

Kindly remove that and see the basic functionality works properly.

Hi,

Kaushik Solanki is right. Besides you'll have to decide which sort to use. Probably the best sort order would be using an expression like sum({1<Year={2005}>} Sales), so you can see first the amounts for 2005 compared to any other year. So even if you have nothing selected, you'll stil see the countries with sales in 2005 first,
