We are doing a POC on QV 11.2 SP6 , exploring the features of QV. the requirement is such that , we need to trigger an email to 20 odd users based or certain action. when the trigger is activated, the report should refresh with the current data and the report should be emailed in pdf / xls format to the users.

This feature can be easily implemented with tools like Cognos and Business Objects . I need to understand if it is as simple in Qlikview too.

An update from my previous comment:

I think that this functionality will be covered by NPrinting add-on, now part of the Qlik family.

Cheers!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Shruti!

Did you got any updates on this?

I am guessing it is not an embedded function on Qlikview?

Thanks, cheers!

Sounds like NPrinting (Qlik just bought them) is what you need.
