Is there a way to load vriables through an excel spreadsheet (then having an additional field that describe/documents the variable that the user will be able to view)?

Through 'table files' in the script window, you are able to load variables from an excel. In the loading windows, you can still work on the structure (e.g. exclude some lines) and select the exact sheet you want to load.

For the description, have a look at the 'COMMENTS'-command. It does exactly that, and can be loaded from excel as well.

Thanks for the response.

So I load like any other table from excel spreadsheet?

If I had the variable:

vAnnualAllowedAmountExp = sum({< [Incurred Month] = , [Calendar Quarter] = , [Incurred Year Month] = , [Incurred Quarter Year (Qn-YYYY)] = , [%CUT_OFF_FLAG] = {1} >}[Revenue])

And the comment:

"Provides revenue four months prior to current date"

How would I load this so my variable could then be used in an expression?
