Lock fields

Hi All,

I have a lot of filters on my QVW. I also have two main filters, one for dates and the second for countries name.My clients asked me to keep these filters locked after the user selection, so the selection of "grey" data in other filters won't affect the country name and won't change the dates.

I tried to use triggers but it didn't work.

Can someone please advise? thanks!

Can you elaborate on what did not work ? field triggers are an obvious one but an action button that does the same may also work... but then users need to select the button manually which is an extra step.

You have some possibilities,

- simple, by lock selection (by icon Lock)

- by a button with actions to select values

- by bookmarks

you can add a button for lock the 2 fields using the action "Lock Field" twice

and another one for unlock
