Hi All,

I have a requirement to trigger an email from qlikview if one of the values in the variable exceeds a particular limit.

Can I do it in Qlikview without a macro ? Do Qlikview provide any trigger to send an email ..

Please adivse .. How efficient it is if I implement this requirement using a macro code?

Hi Nirmal,

You can send email using Alerts Option under Tools in Qlikview.

This works only on Open or Post Reload, so this will be helpful only once after reload.

If you want to send an email for value change for every selection in dashboard then macro is the only option.
