However, it sounds like you are trying to set up your system so that current selections are listed when you send a data set to Excel.</P><P>This is actually a setting you can make in User Preferences.</P><P>Go to Settings-&gt;User Preferences</P><P>On the Export tab at the bottom there is a section called 'Selection Stamps in Exports'</P><P>Check the one that says 'On BIFF Exports'</P><P>With this setting enabled, any time you send something to Excel from a QlikView app it will have a stamp at the bottom of the data set indicating what the current selections were at the time of export.</P><P>Hopefully this is what you're looking for</P><P></P><P>sjprows</P></BODY></HTML> Tue, 16 Jun 2009 03:31:32 GMT https://community.qlik.com/t5/QlikView/Having-a-text-box-inside-a-Table/m-p/146852#M25343 2009-06-16T03:31:32Z
