There's no limit. Things will simply slow down when you want to show more data in a chart. 1.5 million data points seems to be pushing it a bit. Try to filter the data making some selections, or aggregate the data first.

Hi All,

In my app i was using an "scatter" chart with trellis of 2 rows and 8 columns. In this chart i'm pulling the data from "FactDefect" table , this table contains 15lakhs rows. After this i was facing server performance issue with this chart, if i filter any selection to reflect this selection to chart it takes 2 to 3 minutes time.

Does Scatter chart is capable of display data in the chart with the 15 lakhs rows in qlikview or is there any data restriction for scatter chart ?

Plz can anyone suggest with your ideas on this.

Regards,

Satish.A

15 lakhs = 15 x 100,000 rows?

If you're mapping all of that data to a scatter chart, I'd expect some hit on performance, though 2 or 3 minutes sees a little high. It depends on your server / network set up as to how your data is moved and how your machine is set up to crunch the loading of the chart.
