Hi all,

I am new to QlikView and just trying to get my head around alternate states and set analysis. I have several fields in my data:

Country

Region

Product_Type

Year

Month

I have a single sheet with the first three in list boxes in an alternate state called 'Datatables'.

I have a single straight table also in the 'Datatable' Alternate state.

'Month' and 'Year' have two listboxes each, the first in a alternate state called 'Comparison1' , the other in a state called 'Comparison2'.

The table has two columns, which sum a datafield called 'SalesValue' I would like both columns to honour selections made in the Country, Region and Product_type fields, whilst the first column reflects 'Year' & 'Month' selections from listboxes in the 'Comparison1' state and the second column to reflect selections in the Year/Month in the Comparison2 state. Could someone help to point out the expression needed for this, as have tried a few attempts and its not working, is it even possible?

Would very much appreciate any help! thanks!!
