Any limitations on Expression grouping and Mapping load creation

Hi QV,

I have a doubt, in my current application I am grouping 5 expressions into a single group.

Is there any limitation that, we can group these many no of expressions/Dimensions into a single group.

One more, how many no. of mapping loads can we create on a single database table..?

Hi,

I don't think there exists any such limitation.

The only thing to consider is about the type of calculation you have, ram, processes to handle such requests.

Other ten that its fine to have any number of groups and mapping loads.

one more thing, can we create a qvd for multiple tables,

means one qvd for more than one table.

Hi Ananth,

Not possible, 1 qvd will store only one table.

You can have multiple table by joining or concatenating. But final result you can say that 1 qvd per table.

By table wise its not possible, then we can able to create a qvd by performing joins/concatenations on multiple qvd's right

Exactly.

Output that can be stored is 1 qvd per table (Table may be generated from joins or concatenating multiple tables)
