    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Whenever I create a new QlikView document and go into the Script Editor, I notice QlikView automatically creates some statements in the Main tab.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can anybody tell me please where it gets the settings from for Thousend Seperators, MonthNames, DayNames etc? &lt;IMG src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/emoticons/happy.png" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's based on the OS settings.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As noted in QV Help:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Environment Variables : Inserts the number interpretation variables in the script based on the operating system defaults.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
