hi,

I have schedule a job on publisher and it getting failed in few second.its seems like it is not able to open file to load

Hi Chauhan,

Did you somehow changed Machine name of some components like CPU core, or ram from your machine?

Did you schedule task from service account logon?

Is you QlikView hosted on VM,

is it SAN or NAS?

Not change machine name of components nor RAM

No I am not schedule using service account

simple not using SAN or NAS

Try to loging with the service account and schedule task.

Let me know if it works?

Do you have any antivirus software running?

its not working when i have created using service account also.

mcfee is installed on the system. but i dont thing it could be problem . as it is running on other server

Hi,

Can you run tasks manually?

Did you try to enable document log and check what does document log says?

Do you have some firewall enabled if yes try by disabling fire wall or open relevant ports.

If you have Mcafee running then try by omitting below folder from scanning.

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech

Check the Task Log for error Message to see what is failing. It could be McAffee, ensure it is not blocking file access. Need to see Task error for a better understanding.

here i am able to open application mannually.

but using task it can not be open to Reload.

what could be reason for this?

Hi,

Can you look at Document Log,

Qlikview Logs, Task logs, Eventviewer Logs.

What does each of them says?

hi i found the fact.

this is because of section access. its not able to open the file..

i have commented the section access code.its running .

but i need to apply section access also.

Now my question is i am able to open application using Service account login. but not able to execute job using this account.its not even allow to open while excuting the task i believe.

Hi,

For section access to work you must provide section access credentials in the below path.

QEMC--> system-->Setup --> Distribution service --> Advance --> add admin account credentials of your section access.

Make sure your service account belong to Local administrator group too.

Can you provide logs.

Without seeing logs its really hard to say where the issue comes from.

The error looks like the document have Section Access and the service User has no access. Add a user in the Reload task or add the service user in Section Access if you use NTNAME

Document open call failed. The document might require username and password.
