Hi,

I have to use an inputfield field column in a Pivot Table. Assume this Pivot Table is sparsely populated meaning we do not have measures for all combinations of dimensions in the underlying fact table. When I try to input a value in the gaps in the Pivot table, the table crashes and becomes unuable until I remove the value I had typed in. I suppose qlikview could not assign the input value to any combination of dimension in the fact table. The immediate solution that I come up with is to create a cross join between the dimensions and store into the fact. But this definitely would increase my table size and will hit the performance

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Santhya
