Problem with binary load on server.

Hi,

I have a document on the QV server. I wish to create a simple dashboard on that data and publish the dashboard with restricted access to users. No Excel and no new objects etc.

I have tried various versions of the Binary statement with no luck.

Tried

Binary .\crs_utilisation_reporting;

Binary [qvp://server\path\crs_utilisation_reporting]

Binary

all reloads fail with errors similar to below

What have I missed?

Sorted. I had to specify the full path, and spell it correctly.

Hi Richard,

I have an issue in re-loading an app on qlik server using Binary load. The qlik server app does not support binary load.

Please help.

Is there any other command, or, app export command etc. for app reload.

App renaming option to qvf will not work since I have to schedule/create job for auto app reload on a particular interval.

I fix it 🙂

in my case, the windows profile is broken. Windows generated its temp profile.

Some qvw files use inline table, so they need write some temp files into profile folder. But temp folder without permission. Fix windows temp profile problem, qvw no issue any more.

This is a folder permission issue. QV log file isn’t helpful, too general, no detail 😞
