The document failed to load. Failed to open document. Urgent!!

All the two files, was working on Friday are not opening and throwing error "Failed to open Document" .

I have tried :

Application rescue.

Restore previous version

open without data

but stil i am not able to open the document.

Please help its very urgent.

Hi Harshala,

Are you talking about QlikView documents or Sense apps? I will assume Sense apps since you posted in the Sense forum, but the steps you tried don't seem to relate to Sense, so we need to be sure.

I know if it is Sense, there is an particular issue with corruption on a Sense app, that our R&D team is currently investigating. I am not sure but it might be related to this.

Can you provide screenshots, steps, product etc. so we have more information to help you identify and perhaps solve the issue.

As you talking about "open without data" I would say you use QlikView, not QlikSense. I will move this to the right Forum.

once check with logging with administrator,...

once i encountered this error because the user which am logging has no rights to write on disk..our qlikview uses Store command ., which indirectly writes. at that time i got the same error.. make sure login has full rights ..even storing path and application path access..

Hi Daniel,

I am using Qlikview and not Qliksense.

Also I tried all the options given in the Knowledge base. Still getting the same error.

hi harsha,

One more situation to rise this type of the error is
if you created section access with admin and after that you are changing the section access with another user then u will encounter this type of error..

also make sure that section access should be changing through admin only.

I think there nothing much that can be done to recover a corrupted file. So I had to redo all the changes.
