Actions and Triggers Issue

Hi,

I am facing an issue when creating an action on activating sheet. The action works on when added as a trigger on open document Triggers but It doesn't work when added on sheet actions..

Any idea on what can be wrong?

Alec , can you post with some example..mostly triggers fail when you didn't give proper sheet or object IDs in the triggers won't work...........

Hi Saradhi,

I am not able to post samples as it has customer data. in my issue I am trying to trigger a field to one value when the document is opened and when a sheet is activated.

The trigger works when added on document triggers but it doesn't work when added on sheet actions. based on this input I don't see the issue within the the proper field name or value as it works on one side..

I have copied the script to a new qvw and tried the actions and they work.. They don't work only on this particular qvw where all the design is done.. Anyone can suggest what could the issue be?
