Hi,

I have added help text in caption tab for textbox and buttons.

In Accesspoint, help text is visible only for textbox, but it is not showing text for button.

I can replicate the same behavior in 11.2 SR6. If you are a qlik customer i would log it as a bug.

A nice way to do the same is to use conditional text boxes and a show/hide button to show help text over top the objects. Its a technique that is more flexible than the 'help text' property.

To see an example, hit the link below to take you to the 'whats new in qv11 demo'. There is an icon with a big I at the top right of each sheet, click it (its a button) to show help text . its a cool feature.

Hi Jonathan,

I am using QlikView 11 SR1.

It is not showing in accesspoint.

I can think of adding textbox over button as a work around.

But i thought the help text is given for buttons. I thought to use it

I completely agree. it should work from access point but its failing. so i think this must be a bug.
