      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hello ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have a set of years starting 2012 going upto 2020. for which i have created a field called yearquarter, eg:2012Q1,2012Q2 etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;two scenarios need to be achived.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1&amp;gt; to show year starting from current year, yearquarter ie : 2014Q1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2&amp;gt;to change every year, for ex: when the year turns 2015, it automatically switches from 2014Q1 values and show data starting 2015Q1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;how can this be achived ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We too had similar scenario, wherein we have one master calendar saved separately in database and it updates another table which has dates only till current date/quarter so that Max Year command in the expression will work.&amp;nbsp; You can try similar approach wherein the master file which you pull into QlikView has only date/Quarter&amp;nbsp; till current date.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
