Expressor query

Hi all,

I wanted to work with Qlikview Expressor. I am trying to download Qlikview Expressor 3.120 (Latest) from Qlik.

There are two exe.

1) QlikviewExpressorDesktopInstaller.exe

1) QlikviewExpressorFullInstaller.exe

Can you please let me know what is the difference between the above two and which one I need to install?

Hello Brijesh,

Thanks for your post. Please have a glance below.

1- QlikViewExpressorDesktopInstaller.exe is used for only Desktop, this does not require license.

2- QlikViewExpressorFullInsataller.exe will install both Standard and Enterprise editions.

The difference between these two Editions consist of multiple components and can be installed in multiple configurations. Both Standard and Enterprise Editions include the Desktop, the Data Processing Engine, and the Repository. All of those components can be installed on a single system.

You may go with Desktop first or as per your business requirement needs.

Desktop is free - similiar to that of QV Personal Edition.

The Full Version is fee based and includes the engine that allows you to execute them on another workstation and the Repository for design time model component storage, sharing and version control.
